We are seeking a junior accountant with a mix of reporting accounting, operations, administration and special projects experience to join our service team working with the firm’s group of families. This role will play a pivotal role in recording financial activities and ensuring accurate financial reporting for the group of families the firm serves. The ideal candidate will have over 1 year of experience, preferably within a Family Office or investment fund environment, possessing a strong understanding of investment accounting and financial reporting and software.

A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required, and experience working with Addepar, Microsoft Office programs and portfolio accounting systems is important as well. As an Operation Specialist, you will work closely with the families and their external advisors, such as bankers, auditors, tax preparers, and lawyers, and QP’s investment team.

Important

This role offers daily exposure to high-stakes cash management, bill pay controls, reconciliations, financial reporting, and the operating cadence that supports excellent investing, governance, and execution.

You will develop a professional toolkit that travels: accounting rigor, reporting discipline, process design, control-minded thinking, stakeholder management, and the ability to deliver clean outputs in a high-expectation environment.

For the right person, this role is designed to compound. High performers will earn broader scope over time, with opportunities to grow into operations leadership, reporting ownership, project management, and expanded responsibilities across the family office ecosystem. As highly experienced family office professionals, we at (QP) take pride in training team members and building capabilities that advance careers, whether someone grows long-term at (QP) or eventually pursues opportunities elsewhere.
