Regulatory Compliance Specialist, Financial Analyst, Risk Manager/Analyst
The Commercial Regulatory Onboarding Specialist (ROS) role will guide the deal team through the Commercial regulatory review process during onboarding or updating customer profiles—from notification through final approval. The ROS will apply foundational knowledge of OFAC, CIP, KYC, and BOCP regulations, with a focus on high‑risk and complex customer types. Additional duties include conducting enhanced due diligence research and performing quality control reviews (QC).
High attention to detail, organization, and accuracy are critical, as is the ability to remain calm and focused under tight deadlines.
- Specialize in completing customer onboarding/refresh in compliance with regulatory guidelines established by the BSA/AML group, including the collection, review, and validation of CIP documents; KYC; BOCP form or exclusions/exceptions; third‑party research; OFAC screening (as applicable) and enhanced due diligence (EDD).
- Have a clear understanding of the commercial regulatory onboarding process, BSA/AML policies, emerging risks/OFAC sanctions, and market conditions to determine the appropriate level of risk and corresponding requirements.
- Determine tier of onboarding complexity to proceed with the appropriate level of review and deal team engagement.
- Collaborate with sales and service teams using a solution‑oriented approach while meeting tight deadlines.
- Proactively manage workflow and additional duties through independent time management.
- Perform quality control reviews as assigned.
- Actively seek opportunities to contribute to the success of the team.

- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3+ Years of Commercial Banking Regulatory Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or finance
- Strong organization, risk focus, attention to detail, and accuracy; ability to multi‑task, prioritize, and work independently.
- Strong critical thinking, decision‑making, and analytical skills.
- Experience working in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment with professionalism and courtesy.
- Excellent customer service orientation, highly motivated, and goal‑oriented.
- Demonstrates relationship‑building and professionalism with colleagues, departments, and management.
- Takes ownership of workload with a passion to execute; engaged, intuitive, adaptable, resourceful, insightful, and energetic.
- Exceptional listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Skilled with MS Office applications; experience with third‑party due diligence tools.
No (eligible for overtime pay)
Workplace TypeOffice. Certain positions outside the branch network may be eligible for a flexible work arrangement, combining in‑office and remote work as appropriate. Remote roles can also attend in‑office events when required.
Compensation RangeThe compensation range represents the low and high end of the base pay for this position. Actual compensation may vary based on location, experience, and performance. The position is also eligible for an incentive compensation plan.
