• Lead the monthly close process through reporting and analytics of operating expenses and loss adjustment expenses
• Direct quarterly forecasting and 3-year planning processes in partnership with leadership
• Conduct complex analysis and management reporting to reduce expenses and indemnity costs
• Own the staffing model for the Personal Lines Claims department and engage in strategic discussions
• Support FP&A transformation initiatives to enhance insights and improve organizational efficiency

• Minimum of 6 years of financial planning experience, preferably in the insurance industry
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong understanding of claims processes and operational expense reporting
• Proven ability to partner with senior leaders to influence strategic decision-making
• Demonstrated proficiency with planning and reporting software, preferably Oracle cloud-based planning

• Active involvement in company culture initiatives, such as mentoring or volunteering
• Willingness to engage in cross-functional projects and support team collaboration
• Strong storytelling skills to communicate financial results effectively to high-level stakeholders
