Position: R&D Director - Large Progressive Firm
Delighted to be working with a progressive and expanding mid-tier advisory firm is seeking to appoint a Director to lead and grow their R&D Tax offering in Belfast. This is an exciting leadership opportunity for an experienced R&D specialist who is keen to play a key role in shaping and scaling a high-performing service line. The firm advises an excellent portfolio of innovative and growth-focused clients across sectors including technology, manufacturing, engineering and life sciences.

With continued investment in the business and an expanding global footprint, they are strengthening their leadership capability across the group. While this role will be based in Belfast, you will work closely with the firms global leadership team, particularly the Dublin office, which is a key hub for their international R&D and innovation advisory work. This creates strong collaboration opportunities across jurisdictions and access to a diverse international client base.

This role offers the opportunity to play a visible leadership role within a growing firm, with the platform to influence strategy, drive growth and build a specialist team.

The Role Leading and growing the firms R&D Tax offering in Belfast Managing and advising a portfolio of innovative and high-growth clients Delivering complex R&D tax relief and innovation incentive claims Working closely with the global leadership team, particularly the Dublin office, on cross-border client engagements Identifying opportunities to expand R&D advisory services across existing and new clients Supporting the firms strategic growth plans as the business continues to scale internationally Mentoring and developing a high-performing R&D specialist team The Candidate Strong experience delivering R&D tax advisory services Excellent technical knowledge of UK R&D tax relief legislation Experience managing complex client relationships and engagements Commercial awareness and a track record of contributing to practice growth The ability to lead teams and collaborate across offices and jurisdictions ACA / CTA / ATT qualification (or equivalent) preferred Why Apply Leadership opportunity within a scaling and ambitious mid-tier firm Exposure to a high-quality client base of innovative businesses Close collaboration with the global leadership team, particularly in Dublin The opportunity to shape and grow a key service line Clear progression as the firm continues to expand its international footprint Get in rouch today for more information Benefits:
