Corporate Vice President, Finance, Individual Disability Insurance Valuation Actuary

• Develop and maintain valuation models and related tools for the Individual Disability Insurance product line
• Set and maintain valuation assumptions as experience emerges
• Calculate active life and disabled life reserves, and establish procedures for incurred but not reported (IBNR) reserves
• Collaborate with product and pricing teams to implement new initiatives into the valuation model
• Assist in creating management reports and generating insights on morbidity, lapse, and asset performance

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field
• 6+ years of actuarial experience, preferably in insurance, financial services, or consulting
• Actuarial credentials required; FSA preferred
• Familiarity with U.S. Statutory financial reporting related to morbidity products
• Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple complex priorities simultaneously

• Experience with Prophet actuarial modeling software
• Strong business partnering and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and research solutions and best practices
