Responsibilities
  • Prepare and coordinate analyses for insurance rating and support individual account pricing
  • Conduct statistical analysis using appropriate data sources and assumptions for pricing recommendations
  • Document findings and methodologies clearly for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide actuarial support and insights
  • Mentor and guide junior colleagues, depending on experience level
Qualifications
  • BA/BS in statistics, mathematics, actuarial science, or a related area with 5 years of relevant experience, or a graduate degree with 3 years of experience
  • Completion of 5 or more actuarial exams
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis and programming languages, such as SQL, R, or Python
  • Strong analytical skills and effective communication abilities
  • Experience performing statistical and actuarial analysis in a professional setting
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in actuarial analysis on Commercial Auto lines insurance
  • Proven problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver formal presentations
  • In-depth knowledge of the actuarial industry and insurance marketplace
  • Active participation in company culture initiatives, such as employee resource groups or volunteering
