Assistant Controller (Hybrid – San Antonio)
Compensation: $120,000–$130,000

A rapidly growing, mission-driven healthcare organization (currently $50M in revenue with 40% projected growth) is seeking an Assistant Controller to strengthen its accounting operations, elevate processes, and support the company’s continued expansion. This is a highly visible role with meaningful impact on both the finance function and the communities the organization serves.

Month-End Close
- Lead and manage a timely, accurate month-end close process
- Ensure financial statements meet GAAP standards
Process Improvements
- Strengthen accounting workflows, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency
Key Projects
- Lease Accounting (ASC 842): Manage compliance across 30+ leases
- Fixed Assets: Build a complete Fixed Asset system, including policies and SOPs
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
Certifications:
- CPA or CMA strongly preferred
Experience:
- Strong GAAP and corporate audit background
- Multi-site healthcare or private equity–backed growth environment experience preferred
- Proven success leading implementation initiatives and process improvements
- Minimum 3+ years of supervisory/management experience
