Actuarial Technician

Join Royal London as an Actuarial Technician and play a key role in supporting our actuarial team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high‑impact projects within the actuarial systems and development team, helping deliver improvements in operational efficiency and reduce risk. You’ll be part of a collaborative team, primarily supporting the strategic Group policy administration system migrations.

About the role
  • Support policyholder data migration projects, testing output and collaborating with project teams to resolve issues.
  • Build actuarial data processes to process new data feeds.
  • Prepare reports and communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of actuarial models.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
About you
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Experience working with large datasets and data manipulation software (e.g., Excel, R, Python).
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Previous experience in an actuarial or financial services environment is desirable.
  • Progress towards actuarial qualifications (e.g., IFoA exams) is an advantage.
