Management Accountant; FTC

Citadel Source are delighted to be supporting a growing business in recruiting a Management Accountant. This is a key role within a high-performing finance team, helping to scale and professionalise the finance function.

We are seeking a proactive and commercially-minded Management Accountant to join the finance team. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract offering an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, operationally focused business.

As a Management Accountant, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts and variance analysis
• Budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring
• Supporting month-end and year-end reporting processes
• Assisting with KPI reporting and financial analysis for business units
• Ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financial information to senior management
• Identifying process improvements to strengthen controls and efficiency
• Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc projects and tasks as needed

What the client is looking for

• Proven experience as a Management Accountant or similar financial reporting role
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and management accounting processes
• Proficiency with accounting/ERP systems
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capability
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

What the client offers

• Salary: £45,000-£55,000 per annum
