Senior Accountant

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented semi‑qualified or qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 10‑12 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the procure‑to‑pay process for a US entity and a basic understanding of US GAAP and IFRS. This role requires excellent communication skills, advanced Excel proficiency, and the ability to manage cross‑functional collaboration with global teams and external auditors.

• Perform or supervise the creation of Purchase Orders in Coupa, ensuring budget allocation, GL codes, legal entity, etc.
• Perform a 2‑way match with Invoices and Purchase Order.
• Make or review payments for Invoices.
• Month‑end accrual for open invoices / purchase orders.
• Follow up with stakeholders on pending invoices or open purchase orders.
• Supervise a team of 2–3 people across the globe.

• Ensure W‑8 / W‑9 are collected before making payments.
• Review VAT compliance, ensuring timely and accurate payments.

• Act as a liaison between finance, legal, and global operations teams.
• Support ad hoc projects and process improvement initiatives.

• CA or semi‑qualified with 10‑12 years of relevant experience.
• Good knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS.
• Experience with ERP systems and accounting software;
  Netsuite and Coupa are a plus.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis).
