We are working to improve the lives of people across the county of Somerset, accessing Adult Social Care services. This job role is a Senior Finance Assistant post working in Domiciliary Care Finance within the Transactional Team. You will be a point of contact for care providers, colleagues and external organisations requiring information regarding payments. This is a role that requires an eye for detail and a desire to provide excellent customer service.

You will be working as part of a team and you will need to be organised as well as able to provide work management support.

Responsibilities
  • Answer queries via e‑mail and the telephone
  • Validate and process invoices
  • Produce a monthly budgeting report

Qualifications and Experience
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a finance‑based environment
  • Knowledge or an interest in Local Government
  • Enjoy a busy, fast‑paced work environment and like working as part of a team
  • Budget reporting experience
Job Details
  • 37 hours per week
  • Fixed Term for 1 month
  • Salary range is £25,989 – £28,142 per annum (starting salary £25,989)
  • 25 days annual leave, excluding bank holidays
  • Hybrid working opportunity available
