Based in Chicago with advisors across the U.S., we operate as a registered investment advisor (RIA).

As an Accounts Payable Analyst at Hightower Advisors, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations. You will be responsible for managing the accounts payable process, processing invoices, reconciling vendor statements, and assisting in month-end close activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of financial integrity.

• Enter invoices and expenses with accurate GL coding in the financial system
• Manage invoice image capture, indexing, and workflow routing
• Review and process invoices and T&E expense reports for accuracy and policy compliance
• Ensure timely processing and payment of invoices (check, ACH, wire)
• Resolve invoice, expense, and payment discrepancies with vendors and internal teams
• Monitor AP inboxes and workflow queues to drive timely issue resolution
• Support AI‑enabled AP and expense workflows by validating auto‑coding and identifying errors
• Assist with month‑end close, system updates, and ongoing process improvements
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulations
• Maintain organized and accurate accounts payable records and documentation

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or related finance role
• Proficiency in accounting software (Concur/Oracle a plus)
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
• Knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations

• Base salary of $65,000‑$75,000 plus discretionary bonus (exact base salary amount will be dependent on experience)
