Overview

Treasurer (Project Management)

This position is primarily Seattle-based, with an expectation of meaningful time spent collaborating in person. Flexible work arrangements, including hybrid or work-from-home schedules, may be available.

About the Role
We are seeking an accomplished Treasurer to play a critical role in protecting the company's financial strength while helping to shape its future. This position sits at the intersection of strategy, risk, and execution - owning liquidity, capital structure, and financial risk management, and partnering closely with senior leadership on decisions that drive stability and long-term growth.

Beyond core treasury responsibilities, the Treasurer has broad enterprise influence, leading insurance and risk management programs, governing credit policy, and providing financial oversight of the company's commercial real estate portfolio. The role offers meaningful exposure to the Audit Committee of the Board, regular engagement with external partners, and the opportunity to modernize processes, strengthen controls, and build scalable treasury and risk practices.

It is an ideal role for a hands-on leader who thrives in complexity, values strong governance, and enjoys translating financial insight into sound business decisions.

What You'll Do
  • Lead the company's treasury function, overseeing cash management, liquidity planning, cash forecasting, banking relationships, and treasury operations.
  • Manage the company's capital structure, including debt compliance, covenant monitoring, lender reporting, and ongoing capital planning.
  • Partner with senior leadership to develop and execute financing strategies, including bank facilities, term debt, and other capital sources.
  • Oversee financial risk management, including interest rate risk strategies, enterprise risk management (ERM) activities, and Audit Committee reporting.
  • Lead the company's insurance and risk programs, including renewals, claims management, broker relationships, and contract risk provisions.
  • Govern credit policy and customer credit practices, partnering with Accounting and Operations to support effective collections.
  • Provide financial oversight of the multifamily real estate portfolio, including property manager performance, budgeting, cash flow, debt compliance, and capital planning.
  • Oversee the financial administration and governance of the company's retirement plans and related vendor relationships.
  • Ensure strong internal controls, treasury policies, and compliance with bank covenants, audits, and financial standards.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop team members while driving process improvements and serving as a key liaison to banks, auditors, insurers, and other external partners.
What You'll Bring
  • You bring a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field, with an MBA, CPA, CFA, and/or CTP strongly preferred, along with 7-15 years of progressive experience in treasury, finance, and/or capital markets.
  • You have deep expertise in cash management, capital structure, credit facilities, and treasury best practices.
  • You are a strong analytical thinker with advanced financial modeling and spreadsheet skills, able to navigate complex financial instruments and agreements with precision and sound judgement.
  • You have proven leadership experience, excellent communication and relationship-management skills.
  • You operate with a high level of integrity, discretion, and attention to detail, thrive in environments with ambiguity, and bring a collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset.

Compensation:
Annual Salary Range: $170,104 to $255,156 per year. The pay range listed is just one component of Green Diamond's total compensation package. Green Diamond offers generous benefits including medical/vision and dental, life and disability insurance, 401(k) plan with match and profit sharing, and an employee assistance program.
