Remote Tax Professional - AI Trainer

Mercor is collaborating with a leading AI research initiative, focused on evaluating the legitimacy of synthetically generated professional financial documentation. We are seeking experienced tax professionals to provide expert document assessment services. This project involves applying real-world tax expertise to determine whether AI-generated materials meet professional standards. This is an active, time-sensitive engagement with near-term or immediate start availability preferred.

• Review AI-generated accounting and tax documents for accuracy, realism, and professional legitimacy.
• Assess whether documentation aligns with standards expected from top-tier firms.
• Identify inconsistencies, compliance risks, or technical inaccuracies.
• Provide structured evaluations and clear written justifications for assessments.
• Apply professional judgment informed by your background / expertise.

• 5+ years of experience at a prestigious accounting or tax firm.
• Strong preference for experience at EY, Deloitte, PwC, or KPMG.
• Background in accounting, tax advisory, audit, or related financial services.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to assess technical documentation rigorously.
• Prior experience being contracted through Mercor is strongly preferred.
