Transaction Reporting Specialist Manager

London

Job

16-Jan-2026

Permanent - Full time, Mid-level

Compliance & Regulatory, Risk Management

This is an exciting opportunity within Macquarie's Commodities and Global Markets Regulatory Interpretations Team in London, supporting CGM’s focus on accuracy and completeness of transaction reporting (e.g. EMIR - European Market Infrastructure Regulation, MiFID - Markets in Financial Instruments Directive, SFTR - Securities Financing Transactions Regulation, REMIT - Regulation on wholesale Energy Market Integrity and Transparency). You will work as part of a small cohesive global team that develops expertise (of both individuals and the team as a collective), to the maximum extent possible, with a global perspective.

This team works directly with the business and operations functions to contribute to the continued improvement in processes, controls and regulatory risk awareness and culture across Macquarie's Commodities and Global Markets businesses.

At Macquarie, our advantage is bringing together diverse people and empowering them to shape all kinds of possibilities. We are a global financial services group operating in 31 markets and with 56 years of unbroken profitability. You’ll be part of a friendly and supportive team where everyone - no matter what role - contributes ideas and drives outcomes.

What role will you play?

As a subject matter expert, you will apply and develop your knowledge of both transaction reporting rules and the different types of reportable transactions carried on by our businesses. You will provide advice and prepare interpretations of rules, in the context of specific products. This will be informed by regulator guidance, industry consensus, peer connections and the highly collaborative knowledge-sharing dynamic within the global Regulatory Interpretations team.

This team’s work is valued within Commodities and Global Markets because of the team’s commitment to the continual development and maintenance of a close understanding of reportable products traded by Macquarie's Commodities and Global Markets and their systems. You will be continually learning about new business activities and elements of global reporting rulesets applicable to them.

What you offer
  • 5+ years of experience interpreting and applying transaction reporting rules in a relevant capacity (e.g. Compliance, Legal).
  • Have track record in driving consistent changes across global businesses
  • High achievement drive, with strong resilience and tenacity.
  • An innovative mindset, strong relationship building, collaboration skills and commitment to integrity.
  • A focus on developing and maintaining connections (e.g. within the team, with business and operations contacts, across industry) to benefit your work.

We love hearing from anyone inspired to build a better future with us. If you're excited about the role or working at Macquarie we encourage you to apply.

What we offer

At Macquarie, you’re empowered to shape a career that’s rewarding in all the ways that matter most to you. Macquarie employees can access a wide range of benefits which, depending on eligibility criteria, include:
