We’re transforming our Fashion, Home & Beauty (FH&B) and Online businesses — and our Digital & Technology teams sit right at the heart of that journey. As Finance Manager, you’ll be the key finance partner shaping how we invest, deliver value, and drive performance across these strategic areas.
This is a broad, high‑impact role with visibility across multi‑year transformation programmes, giving you the opportunity to influence decisions at pace and support the future growth of some of our most exciting customer‑facing areas.
As the finance lead for Digital & Technology across FH&B and Online, you’ll partner closely with senior business and D&T leaders to provide strategic financial insight, drive commercial challenge, and help shape the portfolio of change. From investment appraisal to performance tracking and long‑term planning, you’ll ensure we make the right choices for customers, colleagues, and shareholders.
To stay close to customers, our support teams are in the office three days a week as we believe that skills are developed through collaboration, and that spending time together makes us more creative and connected.

What you’ll doYour key accountabilities will include:
- Lead finance partnering for D&T across FH&B and Online, providing commercial insight, strategic analysis, and challenge to guide investment decisions and optimise cost, resourcing, and partner spend.
- Appraise and track business cases and inflight initiatives (OKRs, KPIs, risks, benefits), playing an active role in programme governance, Steercos, and post‑implementation reviews.
- Own budgeting, forecasting, long‑term planning, monthly R&Os, and performance reporting, creating forward‑looking analysis, clear insights, and actionable recommendations for senior leaders.
- Coordinate month‑end and ensure strong financial control, including capex/opex review, capitalisation processes, and accurate financial rigour across all deliverables.
- Work cross‑functionally with FH&B and Online Finance teams to model benefits, integrate initiatives into future plans, horizon‑scan for risks and opportunities, and coach the Senior Finance Analyst.
Your skills and experience will include:
- Qualified accountant
- Experience in Technology Finance and/or Retail is desirable
- Excellent attention to detail with a curious, analytical mindset
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, including interaction at senior/exec level
- Ability to work collaboratively while operating independently when needed
- Comfortable challenging constructively and driving change
- Able to work at pace and manage multiple priorities
