The Role:

As a successful R&D Tax Manager, you will have the following duties:
Manage a client portfolio from onboarding through review, ensuring smooth workflow and timely job completion. Lead the team through the R&D process, maintaining quality standards, meeting deadlines, and supporting junior staff development. Conduct client interviews, improve their record-keeping practices, prepare high-quality reports, and handle HMRC enquiries. Organise and deliver educational seminars (in person or via Teams) and contribute to business development.

The Person :
The successful R&D Tax Manager will meet the following criteria:
Demonstrable experience in R&D tax relief with strong, clear report-writing skills. Confident in client-facing work and knowledgeable on current legislation and case law. Experienced in team collaboration and staff management, ensuring all deadlines are met. Open to applicants at Senior level and those from both large and boutique firms.
