Financial Analyst, Corporate Finance
Location: New York
Overview
This role redefines financial operations for organizations that prioritize speed and execution. 2 Hour Learning is constructing a network of schools designed to operate at a different pace. Decisions happen every day, and financial insight must match that velocity. You won't spend time analyzing outdated budgets or depending on business intelligence teams for reports. Instead, you'll create the models, dashboards, and governance frameworks that deliver the transparency operators and leadership require to act with conviction—on a daily basis.
Your output influences school expansions, strategic shifts, and critical decisions, and must be both rapid and reliable. You will be responsible for a real-time, AI-enhanced finance environment. This includes unified P&L frameworks for every school and business unit. Continuously updated 12–18 month projections that reflect conditions within 72 hours. Dashboards designed to highlight the handful of drivers that truly influence outcomes.
You'll leverage AI platforms such as ChatGPT and Copilot to streamline your workflows and remove friction. Your focus is not on building infrastructure—it's on deploying available tools to deliver results more efficiently. This opportunity is not suited to operations managers seeking hierarchical stability. It is designed for finance professionals who are weary of institutional delays and rigid protocols. You apply AI tools to accelerate execution and expect your analysis to inform action, not simply narrate history.
You won't be relegated to the margins awaiting approval. You will sit at the core of organizational momentum.
- Develop and sustain flexible 3-statement financial models for every school and vertical, integrating enrollment trends, workforce planning, and capital expenditures into a unified forecast.
- Refresh rolling 12–18 month projections on a weekly cadence, incorporating the most current data and stress-testing scenarios for favorable and adverse outcomes.
- Create executive-facing dashboards powered by live inputs, isolating critical drivers and supporting rapid, confident decision-making.

- Author concise executive memos summarizing financial exposure, strategic alternatives, and budgetary trade-offs at board presentation quality, delivered within 72 hours.
- Administering protracted budget cycles or generating reports that remain unread—your forecasts adapt alongside the business in real time, and your insights inform decisions within days.

- Navigating unnecessary complexity—your objective is to extract the critical few insights that alter outcomes.
- Developing automation platforms from the ground up—you will use AI tools to enhance productivity, not build technical infrastructure.
