About the OpportunityOne of our clients is looking for an experienced Remote Pensions Officer to support their growing pensions administration team. This fully Remote role is ideal for someone with strong knowledge of UK pension schemes who can manage casework accurately, provide excellent member support, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
You’ll play a key role in administering pension processes, supporting scheme members, and maintaining accurate records within a fast-paced, regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities- Administer day-to-day pension scheme activities including member updates, contributions, and benefit calculations
- Process new joiners, leavers, retirements, transfers, and amendments
- Respond to member enquiries via phone, email, or written correspondence
- Maintain accurate pension records and update administration systems
- Ensure work is completed in line with FCA / TPR regulations and internal policies
- Liaise with employers, trustees, financial advisers, and third-party providers
- Prepare reports and support scheme audits where required
- Meet service level agreements and regulatory deadlines
- Previous experience in UK pensions administration or pensions officer roles
- Strong understanding of pension schemes (Defined Contribution, Defined Benefit, or Workplace Pensions)
- High attention to detail and strong numerical accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working remotely and managing workloads independently
- Experience using pensions administration systems and Microsoft Office
- Progress towards PMI, CII, or relevant pensions qualifications
- Experience with in financial services, third-party administrators, or consultancy firms
- Knowledge of auto-enrolment legislation and pension compliance
- Experience working within regulated or FCA-compliant environments
- Fully Remote UK-based role
