We are seeking a CPA‑designated Controller to provide financial leadership and advisory support to multiple franchise partners. This role is ideal for a CPA who enjoys combining technical accounting, client advisory, and people leadership in a dynamic, multi‑entity environment.

• Review and interpret monthly financial statements, profitability reports, budgets, and forecasts
• Lead year‑end engagements from start to finish
• Act as a trusted advisor to business owners, translating financial results into actionable insights
• Ensure GAAP compliance, internal controls, and regulatory requirements
• Lead, coach, and develop a small accounting team in a remote environment
• Collaborate with fellow Controllers to improve processes and share best practices

• 3+ years of progressive accounting leadership or management experience
• Strong technical accounting and financial reporting expertise
• Experience presenting financial results to non‑financial stakeholders
• Proven ability to mentor, delegate, and manage competing priorities
• Excellent analytical, communication, and relationship‑building skills
• Comfortable working in a paperless, tech‑enabled environment
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Business Central is an asset
