US- Private Equity – Vice President; Consumer – Remote

A US-based private equity platform is hiring a Vice President to join its investment team. The opportunity is fully remote, open to candidates based anywhere. The role sits in a lean, high-performing team where VPs are expected to own work streams end-to-end and contribute meaningfully to deal execution and portfolio value creation.

You will operate at the intersection of investment execution and value creation. The role suits someone who can shift between commercial judgement (brand/channel dynamics, pricing, unit economics, competitive positioning) and hard execution (modeling, diligence, IC materials, financing, documentation), while remaining credible with management teams.

• Origination and coverage: subsector mapping, advisor/management connectivity, investment angles
• Deal leadership: modeling, valuation, diligence strategy, advisor management, process control
• Commercial judgement: assess revenue quality, margins, pricing power, concentration, growth levers
• Financing and structuring: support capital structure, lender process, key terms
• Team leadership: mentor juniors and set quality standards

• Typically 6–10 years total experience with clear progression
• Background:
  Private Equity (Senior Associate/VP) or IB Sponsors/M&A + investing; consumer exposure preferred
• Strong technical base: LBO/operating models, valuation, accounting, diligence structuring
• Evidence of ownership: led parallel work streams, controlled advisors/timelines, delivered decision-ready outputs
• High standards, fast pace, commercially sharp communicator
