Job Description: Our client is looking for a Senior Investment Performance & Analyst (GIPS, Simcorp) Remote across Canada.

Must Have Primary

Skills:

• Experience working in the investment management industry.
• Advanced analytical thinking and problem solving.
• Experience assessing data quality.
• University degree in a quantitative field.

Nice To Have Secondary

Skills:

• Experience with performance measurement & analytics in both public and private asset classes plus derivative instruments would be an asset.
• Working knowledge and experience in investment performance measurement, performance attribution methodologies, and global investment performance standards (GIPS) are strongly desirable.
• Advanced understanding of the asset management industry, investment management process across a broad range of asset classes and strategies, including experience with complex investment instruments would be an asset.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience with valuation methodologies, accounting treatments would be an asset.
• Demonstrated strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and facilitation skills as well as the ability to establish effective working relationships.
• Good oral and written communication skills are essential.
• Knowledge of Simcorp, Sylvan or Opturu would be an asset.
• Knowledge with different performance and/or risk analytics systems would be an asset.
• Ability to translate investment data information into meaningful commentary is desirable.
• Demonstrates a strong commitment to core values of excellence, transparency, humility, integrity and collaboration, and inspires the same in others.
• Knowledge of Fixed Income performance attribution calculations.
• Experience in client performance reporting and writing investment commentary.
• Completion or working towards completion of CIPM and/or CFA, FRM would be an asset.
