Lending Specialist Business Banking (Noordoost)

ING Business Banking Mid Corporates is responsible for servicing the top end of the business segment, which are customers with complex product needs. Important building blocks of the ING Business Banking culture are:
Accountability, Trust, Working together, Helping each other. This method helps us as a team to deliver the best service available to our customers and is to always exceed the customers’ expectations. Together with the other members of your Client Service Team (consisting of relationship managers, associates, and other specialists such as asset based finance, trade finance, financial markets and payments) you are responsible of servicing a dedicated portfolio of customers within a specific sector.

As a finance specialist you are an expert in business lending, capable of structuring the most complex financing solutions for Senior lending, and commercially driven to earn the deal! Mid Corporate North East is located in Zwolle, however we work at least 50/50 at home/office (Hybrid way of working) and very often visit our customers. Your customers are spread across the North-East Netherlands, and you will need to be easily visible and accessible (also online) to customers and colleagues.

You are actively engaged with customers and pay them regular visits.

The Client Service Team consists of 10-15 colleagues from various disciplines and, with them, you take responsibility for exceeding customer expectations. This team responds to customer needs with a personal, honest and open approach to provide customers with maximum support.

You are an expert and analytical authority in the field of business lending. You are able to translate complex financing issues into the best practical advice for customers. But you also have the personality and commercial skills to interact directly with customers and prospects at various levels, properly assess their needs, and respond in the best way possible by using your expertise.

You will also bring as a finance specialist:

• an academic degree
• exceptional expertise in working with Excel and Power Point
• at least 3 years’ experience with complex financing issues
• experience in structuring loans and writing credit proposals
• fluent in the Dutch language

Nice to have (preferred):
It is preferable if you have experience in one of the sectors served by ING Business Banking Mid Corporates and if you have knowledge of commercial developments within the Dutch banking market.
