ASSISTANT FINANCIAL ANALYST
Part Time (3-4 days a week)
FTC Until October 2026
Up to £35,000 pro rata
Devon, Bristol or Home Based
The role is to support the Finance Business Partner in delivering high-quality financial insight and reporting. This includes assisting with budget planning, forecasting, variance analysis, maintaining and updating monthly reports, supporting P&L management, and providing ad-hoc financial data and advice as needed.
Responsibilities- Work with senior management teams to provide ongoing, value-adding financial support that enables informed, sustainable business decisions; attend management meetings when required.
- Assist in the analysis of revenue performance versus budget, and maintain live forecasts across agencies in collaboration with client services teams.
- Provide insight into, and add value to, Net Profit Per Client on an ongoing basis.
- Monitor and review management accounts against budget, understand variances, and take appropriate action.
- Produce monthly "flash" forecasts and performance analysis for the Group Board/CEO.
- Generate monthly Management Information for Senior Management Teams across the Group.
- Support the preparation of information required for audit requests.
- Deliver ad-hoc reporting to support the Finance Business Partner.
You will be a part-qualified ICAEW, CIMA, or ACCA accountant with experience in management accounts and financial analysis. You should be analytical, confident in forecasting, and an effective communicator. Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook are essential. Most importantly, you ll be a collaborative team player with a commitment to delivering work accurately, efficiently, and to a high standard.
