Lead Business Consultant – Risk & Valuation (Sim Corp)

Allocation: 50% (Part-Time)

Skillfinder International is supporting a leading financial services organisation in the search for an experienced Lead Business Consultant with deep expertise in risk management and OTC derivatives valuation.

This is a high-impact consulting engagement suited to a senior professional with strong Sim Corp knowledge and hands-on experience in risk analysis and valuation frameworks.

As Lead Business Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting risk and valuation processes, with a particular focus on Mark-to-Market (MtM) Decomposition and risk module expertise within Sim Corp.

You will work closely with stakeholders across risk, finance, and technology functions to ensure accurate modelling, validation, and analysis of risk results.

• Lead analysis and advisory work relating to Mark-to-Market Decomposition
• Provide subject matter expertise on the Sim Corp Internal Risk module
• Support and validate backtesting of risk results within Sim Corp
• Work extensively with Risk Analysis Manager
• Demonstrate strong understanding of the risk data model and risk tables
• Apply advanced theoretical valuation expertise for OTC derivatives
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accurate risk reporting and valuation integrity

• Proven experience as a Senior / Lead Business Consultant within financial services
• Strong hands-on knowledge of:
• Mark-to-Market decomposition methodologies
• Sim Corp Internal Risk module
• Backtesting risk results in Sim Corp
• Risk Analysis Manager
• Risk data models and risk tables
• Deep theoretical knowledge of OTC derivatives valuation
• Ability to operate independently in a remote consulting environment
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
