Senior Financial Analyst

A Fortune 500 industrial organization is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst to support financial modeling, planning, forecasting, and performance analysis across a large operating unit. • Develop and maintain financial models to project performance and identify trends
• Lead annual planning, forecasting, and gap‑closure analysis for the operating unit
• Evaluate capital investments and ensure alignment with business objectives
• Create and maintain key metrics dashboards for leadership visibility
• Support month‑end close and ensure expenses are accurately captured
• Interpret financial statements and communicate insights to management
• Analyze financial performance, identify risks/​opportunities, and recommend actions
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements
• Partner with the Director of Finance to align business unit metrics with corporate strategy
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to gather financial inputs and validate assumptions
• Support special projects and ad hoc analysis as required

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Senior Financial Analyst
• Ability to read P&L statements, identify trends, and distill insights
• Experience with month‑end analysis and performance reporting
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem‑solving skills
• Deep curiosity around profit drivers and ability to mine data from multiple systems
• Proven ability to influence decision‑making and communicate complex topics clearly
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong collaboration and relationship‑building skills across all levels
• Proficiency with SAP and Excel (PowerPoint also preferred)
• SAP BPC experience strongly preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Manufacturing or distribution experience is a plus
• Ability to travel up to 10%
