What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

• Lead the monthly close process and analytics for the Personal Lines Claims department and the Legal Division
• Oversee quarterly forecasting and long-term planning processes, partnering with leadership to build financial plans
• Conduct complex analyses and management reporting to drive initiatives aimed at reducing expenses
• Own the staffing model for the Personal Lines Claims department and facilitate staffing discussions
• Support FP&A transformation initiatives to enhance insights and operational efficiency

What is Required (Qualifications):

• Minimum of 6 years of financial planning experience, preferably in an insurance company
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Understanding of claims processes and costs as they relate to financial analytics
• Proven knowledge of operational expense reporting and budgeting, particularly LAE
• Ability to partner effectively with senior leaders to influence strategic decision-making

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

• Experience with planning and reporting software, preferably Oracle cloud-based planning and Smartview
• Demonstrated ability to explain financial results through visuals for executive-level reporting
• Experience in shaping company culture through mentoring and cross-functional projects
• Willingness to travel for team meetings and other in-person engagements
• A proactive mindset that goes beyond individual job responsibilities to support overall business needs
