• Lead the monthly close process through reporting and analytics of operating expenses and loss adjustment expenses
• Conduct quarterly forecasting and 3-year planning in collaboration with leadership to build financial plans
• Manage complex analysis of initiatives aimed at reducing expenses and indemnity costs
• Own and manage the staffing model for the Personal Lines Claims department, providing strategic recommendations
• Participate in FP&A transformation initiatives to improve efficiency and effectiveness in financial analytics

• Minimum of 6 years of financial planning experience, preferably in the insurance industry
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong understanding of claims processes, operational expenses, and budgeting
• Proven ability to partner with senior leaders to influence strategic decision-making
• Proficiency in planning and reporting software, preferably Oracle cloud-based planning and Smartview

• Experience in shaping company culture through mentoring, volunteering, or cross-functional projects
• Willingness to engage actively in team dynamics and support new team members
• Demonstrated ownership mindset, thinking beyond individual responsibilities
• Flexibility to travel for divisional/team meetings as needed
