Compensation:

We serve fund managers, investors, sponsors, and operators across private markets by integrating deal flow, transaction diligence specialists, investor relations support, training, and placement into a single platform.
Our mission is to deliver rigor, credibility, and immediate earning potential for serious private capital professionals. Once verified, specialists gain immediate access to live diligence engagements tied to active transactions—no waiting periods, no unpaid work, and no simulated assignments.
Role OverviewInitio Sphere is seeking qualified finance professionals to join as Certified Transaction Diligence Specialists.
This is not a traditional employment role. Specialists operate as independent contractors and are activated through our certification, verification, and approval process.
Once approved, Transaction Diligence Specialists:
Are promoted within the Initio Sphere platform
Support investors, fund managers, and sponsors during active transaction diligence
Execute financial, commercial, and operational diligence work streams
Identify risks, red flags, and value drivers prior to deal execution
Build a verified transaction diligence track record and Analyst Rating Score
Rating Score: 90–100
Pay: $150–200/hour
Typical Background:
Former private equity, investment banking, transaction advisory, Big Four diligence, or senior consulting professionals with 5+ years of transaction diligence experience.
Rating Score: 80–89
Pay: $100–150/hour
Typical Background:
Finance professionals with 3–5 years of experience executing financial, commercial, or operational diligence on live transactions.
Rating Score: 60–79
Pay: $50–100/hour
Typical Background:
Entry to mid-level analysts with strong analytical skills and experience supporting diligence or transaction analysis.
Depending on certification approvals, Transaction Diligence Specialists may be engaged for:
Quality of Earnings (QoE) analysis
Revenue, margin, and cash flow sustainability review
Working capital and normalization analysis
Historical financial performance validation
Market sizing and competitive landscape analysis
Customer, supplier, and concentration risk assessment
Cost structure and operational scalability review
KPI analysis and performance benchmarking
Identification of key transaction risks and red flags
Downside scenario and stress testing
Diligence findings summaries and risk matrices
Diligence section support for investment memos and IC materials
Supporting Financial Analysis (as Approved)Targeted financial modeling to validate diligence conclusions
Sensitivity and scenario analysis
Data room review and issue tracking
Analysts may only perform work in categories they are approved for. Approvals are earned through assessment results and demonstrated diligence rigor—not tenure.

Score ≥70% in at least one category of the Analyst Certification Assessment
Complete Initio Sphere Financial or Transaction Diligence Training
Hold an active professional credential (CFA, CPA, Series 7, 63, 79, or equivalent)
Analyst Rating ScoreEach Transaction Diligence Specialist receives a 0–100 Analyst Rating Score, which determines:
Visibility to investors and diligence leads
Approved diligence work categories
Recommended hourly rates
Eligibility for higher-complexity and higher-impact diligence engagements
