Responsibilities and Duties of the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager:

• Provide financial and operational information, expertise and insights to business partners and management including develop, monitor and report on annual budgets, targets and other key performance indicators.
• Prepare financial forecasts for short- and long-term planning and align strategic financial metrics across all departments to drive results
• Support the Decision Support Director in consolidating and aligning planning model outputs and developing stakeholder communications and presentations for short- and long-term plans, annual budgets, and forecasts
• Lead the analytical engine of the Operations and Finance organization by providing analysis, interpretation of results, and reporting to communicate on performance and support executive decision making
  • Extract insights based on strategic objectives
  • Identity key business drivers and relevant metrics for performance
  • Proactively monitor performance to identify opportunities and anomalies
• Manage staff including hiring, training, and coaching

Experience Preferred of the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA or MBA-Finance required
• 7+ years’ experience building financial models, forecasts, and operational reports for a multiple location organization.
• Excellent communication skills including the ability to present complex information
• High proficiency in budgeting, forecasting financial modeling and financial analysis
