We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Tax Manager to lead our tax team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of tax reporting, compliance, and planning for our diverse client base. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned tax professional to use their expertise in a leadership role while fostering growth within the tax team.

Employment Type:

- Review and prepare complex federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, business entities, non-profits, and fiduciaries.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including staying current on new tax laws and regulatory changes.
- Research and resolve complex tax-related issues for clients
- Supervise, mentor, and provide guidance to junior staff and tax associates.
- Manage workflow to ensure timely and accurate completion of projects.
- Act as a supporting point of contact for client tax matters, providing expert advice and fostering strong client relationships alongside their primary partner and staff associate.
- ollaborate with leadership to identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Leverage technology tools to enhance service delivery and ensure data security.
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- A CPA license or EA designation is required.
- Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in tax preparation and planning, with a focus on small businesses and individuals.
- Prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role is highly desirable.
Skills:
- Proficiency in tax software (e.g., Pro Series, Lacerte, or Ultra Tax) and accounting tools (e.g., Quick Books).
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations, including recent updates.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
