EY invites candidates to join the Tax - Business Tax Services practice as a Corporate Tax Manager. This full‑time, remote position is based anywhere in the United States and offers the opportunity to work with high‑growth private companies from start‑ups to multi‑billion‑dollar enterprises.

- Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for U.S. corporations and certain partnerships, including foreign reporting requirements for cross‑border entities.
- Provide tax research, draft tax memoranda, and assist in quantitative modeling for private client tax advisory services.
- Identify and communicate significant tax matters to Senior Managers, Managing Directors, and Partners.
- Liaise with other service lines and subject‑matter professionals to foster collaboration.
- Build long‑term client relationships and understand their unique needs to deliver tailored service.
- Communicate complex tax issues to non‑tax professionals and clients.
- Maintain technical expertise by continuously updating and sharing best practices.
- Manage, coach, and develop a team of tax professionals; review work and support their growth.
- Identify and address risks and opportunities to improve services and processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field with experience in tax, business, or financial planning.
- CPA certification or bar admission (or eligibility).
- Experience with ASC 740 tax provisions.
- Minimum five years of work experience in professional services or a tax organization.
- Excellent collaboration, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Strong commitment to continued learning.
- Proficiency with tax software such as RIA, CCH Intelli Connect, One Source, BNA, or Lexis Nexis.
- Experience in managing, coaching, and mentoring junior colleagues.
- Willingness to travel and work in a hybrid environment.
- Competitive base salary ranging from $106,500 to $195,100 (or $127,700 to $221,700 for NYC, Washington State, and California).
