Seasonal Tax Manager – Private Client Services – RemotePrivate Client Services (PCS) is a growing practice within EY, serving privately held companies and their owners and families. As a Seasonal Tax Manager, you will act as a key point of contact for a wide range of clients and colleagues, tackling technically demanding tax planning and compliance projects for high‑growth private companies.
YourKey Responsibilities
- Review complex individual tax returns for high‑net‑worth clients
- Provide income‑tax planning for high‑net‑worth individuals and families
- Ensure partnership tax compliance
- Handle S‑Corp tax compliance for Private Tax clients
- Support remote work from within the United States, with no travel required
- Strategic eye toward prioritizing when working on multiple complex projects
- Influencing skills and confidence to question existing processes
- Ability to produce technical writing and research in a tax context
- Experience performing high quality review of complex tax returns
- Knowledge of handling High Net Worth and Individual Tax Returns, or complex partnership compliance
- Experience with federal and state personal and trust income tax
- Thorough understanding of estate and wealth planning
- Research skills to develop effective tax planning strategies and translate complex data into client‑ready insights
- Comfort with working remotely in a virtual team environment
- Valid US Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or active state bar membership
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related discipline
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in tax compliance for private client individuals, partnerships, and/or S Corps
- Strong analytical skills, written and verbal communication, interpersonal problem‑solving ability and attention to detail
- A proven record of excellence in tax accounting for financial statements with a top or mid‑tier firm
- Salary range: $90/hr to $120/hr, adjusted for experience, education and geography
- Hourly pay with over‑time eligibility
