Salary Range: $144,000 - $164,400 per year

A leading financial institution is seeking a Manager – Finance Data Risk Advisor to support its Finance Risk Management (FRM) team. This role will focus on risk management for Finance Product and Data Solutions (FPDS), with an emphasis on data governance, compliance, and technology risks. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills to influence risk stakeholders, enhance risk oversight, and drive strategic initiatives.

This is a hybrid role, requiring in-office presence 2-3 days per week (typically Tuesday-Thursday) while allowing remote work on Mondays and Fridays.

• Serve as the primary data risk lead for FPDS, directing risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
• Support the Finance Divisional Data Risk Officer in implementing a well-managed risk strategy.
• Develop and execute FRM strategies to enhance risk oversight across FPDS.
• Provide risk advisory services to FPDS stakeholders, fostering strong collaboration.
• Conduct risk assessments to ensure adherence to enterprise policies related to risk management, data governance, and technology operations.
• Synthesize risk data from multiple sources to identify trends and influence leadership decisions.
• Prepare for and support audit and regulatory examinations related to finance data risk.
• Collaborate with internal teams to automate processes and integrate emerging technologies for risk mitigation.
• Develop and maintain risk-related procedures, training materials, and presentations.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or military experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in Finance-related roles.
• At least 5 years of experience in Risk Management.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience advising on or validating Operational Risks (Data Management, Technology, or Business Process risks).
• 2+ years of experience with U.S. Data Privacy and Compliance.
• 2+ years of experience working in cross-functional or matrixed teams with leadership responsibilities.
• Industry certifications in Risk Management, Data Privacy Compliance, or Product Management (APRM, CIPM, CDMP, CPM, etc.).
• Experience in product or project management life cycles.
• Knowledge of cloud-based technologies.
• Strong critical thinking and ability to manage shifting priorities.
• Proficiency with Google Suite.
