A Typical Day In this role you’ll inspire people to make confident, informed decisions about their lives, careers, and money, building client relationships that grow stronger each year.

Remote Tax Professional You will serve clients with diverse tax needs and receive support from an expert team, including advanced tax training to help you succeed.

• Conduct tax interviews with clients and support do-it-yourself online tax clients through virtual tools (video conferencing, phone, chat, email).
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Collaborate with leaders and peers to communicate how remote work impacts results and ensure teamwork is essential to success.
• Grow your tax expertise.

• Experience completing individual tax returns.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Access to high-speed, reliable internet.
• Experience and skill in technology (MS Teams and Outlook).
• Ability to communicate complex tax situations concisely via phone, email, and chat to inspire client confidence.
• Strong customer service techniques, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or equivalent.
• High school diploma or higher.
• Must complete continuing education requirements and meet applicable IRS/state requirements.
• Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week during peak tax season.
• Ability to research information using tax publications and instructions (e.g., IRS publications).

The pay range for this position is listed below. Local minimum wage laws apply. Pay decisions depend on experience, education, skill, performance, and location. Eligible associates may participate in incentive plans and benefits such as medical coverage, 401(k), retirement savings, and more.

Pay Range
$11.00 - $80.00/Hr.
