Overview

The Default Title Specialist Team Lead will be responsible for receiving, reviewing, and opening all default orders and ensuring that the company’s venders have all the property information needed to search for the property. Follow up on questions concerning opening new orders and/or missing information needed for the company’s clients & search partner. Responsible for monitoring all orders coming in through an email box or other means, order abstracts from vendors using a client-based matrix, and invoicing orders as per client guidelines.

Follow up on questions concerning opening new orders and missing information needed for the abstractor to complete their reports. Perform all duties in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, all US state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates. The target pay range for this position is $25.00-$32.00 an hour.

Responsibilities
  • Work with available resources to resolve any title related issues.
  • Order and follow-up on all necessary aged orders.
  • Direct workflow of team and assist other Specialists with escalated issues.
  • Work with new team members on file level trainings.
  • Assist Manager with managing associate pipelines.
  • Assist with keeping track of employee performance.
  • System input and assignment of new search requests to third-party underwriting search partner.
  • Responsible for following up with clients to obtain any missing information needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Order requested foreclosure abstracts from stated company partner(s) and update per attorney request.
  • Follow up diligently with abstractors to ensure timely receipt of reports.
  • Invoice reports as per client guidelines.
  • Communicate and coordinate follow-up with all necessary parties.
  • Adhere to all default production procedures.
  • Assist in backing up other team members when necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • Three plus (3+) years of experience in the title services industry.
