Senior Tax Associate

We are seeking a tax compliance professional to join our growing team here in Parsippany, NJ. The tax associate will be responsible for completing necessary tasks related to different corporate tax returns such as 1120 PC s. The ideal candidate will be a competent professional that is analytical, solutions-oriented, and eager to learn.

• Prioritize daily tasks and meet timely due dates while working in a paperless environment.
• Complete tax return process for corporate returns such as 1120s and 1065s.
• Assist in finding solutions to complicated tax issues or errors from incorrect tax filings.
• Coordinate necessary tax preparation paperwork.
• Assist with preparing quarterly and annual tax reports.
• Stay updated with tax changes and industry trends.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Consistently complete all assigned tasks with confidentiality and accuracy.
• Work independently while maintaining a positive attitude and clear communication.
• Performs other duties as assigned at the discretion of management.

• Bachelor s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Economics or related field
• 1-4+ years of professional tax experience in corporate or public accounting
• Experience processing high volume of tax returns
• Experience with 1120 PC tax returns strongly preferred
• Proficient with MS Office and Tax software
• One Source Tax software knowledge is a plus
• General knowledge or understanding of accounting and bookkeeping processes
• Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and organizational skills

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time
