A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for an Operational Risk Management Analyst
Position type:
Full-time, Contract
Duration: 4 Months

As an Operational Risk Management Analyst
, you will:

Day to Day Responsibilities

• Take required RCSA training & read related policies/procedures
• Review & challenge business unit RCSAs using Excel workbooks
• Validate:
  • Risk statements
  • Risk ratings
  • Control descriptions & control environment
  • Residual risk ratings
• Document review & challenge comments clearly
• Communicate follow ups with 1st Line risk partners (not business directly)
• Track open items and ensure nothing falls through the cracks
• Work with managers in 2nd line for clarifications, oversight & sign-off
• Use Archer mostly for viewing, not updating
• Collaboration via SharePoint & email
• Work independently with tight deadlines

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong RCSA Review & Challenge Experience
  • Must have hands-on experience reviewing RCSAs
  • Must know how to challenge risk ratings & control environments
  • Must differentiate between review/challenge vs control testing
• Banking Operational Risk (2nd Line or 3rd Line)
  • 3rd Line auditors are fine ONLY if they have RCSA experience
• Exceptional Excel Skills
  • Heavy use of Excel (downloads, filters, comparisons, analysis)
  • Ability to work quickly with large RCSA files
• Detail-oriented & strong follow-up discipline
• Strong understanding of risk and control concepts

Nice-to-Have

Skills & Experience:

• Experience with Archer or Any GRC tool (Metric Stream, Service Now, RSA Archer, etc.)
• Commercial, Consumer, Wealth, Entertainment banking risk exposure

Tools: Excel, Outlook & Share Point
