CORY is seeking a Private Equity Analyst who combines strong technical expertise with strategic thinking to support a growing real estate investment platform. This is a hands‑on, high‑impact leadership opportunity for a finance professional passionate about driving investment performance, optimizing capital structures, and supporting continued portfolio expansion.
About Our ClientOur client is a rapidly expanding real estate investment and owner‑operator. They specialize in acquiring, developing, and managing a diversified portfolio of industrial and commercial assets nationwide.
Your Responsibilities as a Leader- Develop financial models for acquisitions, developments, and portfolio performance.
- Conduct underwriting and sensitivity analyses for investment returns, capital structures, and market assumptions.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Support debt and equity capital activities, including structuring, diligence, and negotiations.
- Prepare high-quality materials for investment committees, lenders, and capital partners.
- Collaborate on refinancing, recapitalization, and portfolio financing.
- Contribute to corporate budgeting, reforecasting, and cash flow planning.
- Monitor and analyze key portfolio performance indicators and financial health.
- Provide financial insights to inform strategic decisions and operational improvements.
- Partner with acquisitions, asset management, and accounting teams to align assumptions.
- Present complex financial data and strategic recommendations to senior executives and stakeholders.
- 4+ years of progressive experience in real estate finance, private equity, investment banking, or a related field, with advanced financial modeling and underwriting expertise (including building models from scratch).
- Strong knowledge of real estate valuation and capital structure principles, including debt and equity financing, and proficiency in analyzing financial statements and key metrics (e.g., NOI, IRR, equity multiple, cap rate, and debt service coverage).
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, or a related discipline required; MBA, CFA, or CPA preferred.
- Up to $200K+ base salary, plus bonus, depending on experience
