Finance Merger & Acquisition Associate

CAPTRUST is seeking a Finance Merger & Acquisition Associate to support all reporting and analysis requirements for the M&A Team. As part of the team, the associate will be heavily involved in all aspects of the deal lifecycle from pre-deal operational and synergy reviews to 'Day 1' planning and post deal implementation. The ideal candidate will be team-oriented with a strong work ethic, well-organized, collaborative, and accountable all the while possessing a sense of urgency while performing under tight deadlines.

This position will have an immediate opportunity to impact efficiency, provide ideas for process improvements, and help drive insights for a rapidly growing company.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or equivalent combination of training and experience required
• Understanding financial statement analysis and valuation modeling
• 1-2 years of finance experience required

Skills:

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office specifically Excel
• Organization skills with a strong sense of priority, urgency, and commitment to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Self-starter with a strong work ethic who can prioritize and re-prioritize with little supervision
• Detail oriented, deep analytical skills, and a desire to learn
• Interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with colleagues at all levels
