Commercial Reserving Actuarial Analyst - Remote

• Research and develop new methods for loss reserving
• Prepare and coordinate analyses of monthly and quarterly loss reserves
• Perform complex data analysis with minimal oversight
• Evaluate analytical work done by others and make informed recommendations
• Provide training and mentorship to Actuarial Analysts

• BA/BS in statistics, mathematics, actuarial science, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in statistical and actuarial analysis for Commercial or Personal lines insurance (Commercial Auto preferred)
• Completion of 5 or more actuarial exams
• Proficiency in statistical analysis and programming languages such as SQL, R, and Python
• Strong analytical and communication skills

• Experience with actuarial analysis specifically in Commercial Auto lines insurance
• Effective computer software programming skills
• Proven problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Basic knowledge of the actuarial industry
