Portfolio Operations Specialist

Our client is seeking a Portfolio Operations Specialist to support day-to-day investment operations with a strong focus on cost basis accuracy, reporting, and data integrity. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, Excel-savvy, and has experience within an RIA. This is a fully remote position.

• Maintain and reconcile accurate cost basis information across client portfolios
• Support trade processing, settlements, and post-trade operational activities
• Prepare and analyze portfolio and performance reports using Excel
• Utilize advanced Excel functions including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, sorting, and formulas
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to pricing, transactions, and cost basis
• Collaborate with advisors, portfolio managers, and custodians to ensure operational accuracy

• Proven experience working with cost basis data
• Strong Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and data manipulation
• Prior experience in portfolio operations, investment operations, or a similar role
• RIA experience strongly preferred
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
