What you will do- Prepare quarterly and annual state income/franchise tax filings
- Assist with quarterly premium tax estimates and annual premium tax return calculations and payments
- Manage indirect tax calculations and related tax filings
- Prepare premium tax accruals and assist with review of income tax accruals
- Analyze data throughout the preparation and/or review processes
- Assist with state tax examination and notice responses, including tracking, response research, coordination, and formulation
- Document significant tax positions and prepare work papers supporting tax filings and income tax accruals
- Participate in budgeting process and preparation of tax related financial projections
- Communicate and coordinate with other departments across the business and with state auditors and service providers
- Manage and track tax payments and refunds
- Ad hoc tax research and documentation
- Two years of tax return compliance
- At least one year of experience in accounting for income taxes (either IFRS or US GAAP)
- Bachelor of Science (or equivalent) in Accounting and/or Master in Taxation
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Execution orientated; results driven cross‑functional approach
- SAP and/or Corptax experience preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
