This is a permanent, full-time daytime role, working Monday to Friday and offers an annual salary up to £36,000.00 per annum, depending on skills and experience. It follows a hybrid working model, with three days in the office and two days working from home each week.
Tasks and responsibilitiesResponsible for leading the transactional finance team, ensuring accurate and compliant processes in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Key tasks:
- Supervise the finance admin team and manage day-to-day activities
- Oversee invoicing, purchase invoice processing reconciliations, credit control, expenses, and credit cards.
- Act as the main escalation point for finance queries from suppliers, customers, and internal teams
- Monitor team performance and workload. Drive efficiency and process improvements
- Support month-end close. Ensure accuracy, compliance, and adherence to finance deadlines
- Solid experience in accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, and reconciliations
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Confident communicator with team leadership potential
- Able to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive problem solver with a continuous improvement mindset
