Description Job Summary
The Financial Analyst – Merchant Services is responsible for driving financial excellence through proactive billing collections, forecasting, and analysis. This role will research and resolve complex billing issues, develop automated reconcilement processes, and deliver actionable revenue growth models. The analyst collaborates across teams to maximize receivable collections and provide strategic insights that support revenue growth and operational efficiency.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities- Remit Billing Collections:
Proactively track, reconcile, and forecast Merchant’s manual invoices (Remit billing) generating over $12MM+ annually. Collaborate with Lock Box team, Accounting, Strategic Account Managers, and Sales to ensure 100% collection efforts are made on these outstanding receivables. Protect against a $1MM+ monthly risk exposure from uncollectable receivables. - Revenue Growth Model Forecast:
Develop and maintain a revenue growth forecasting tool by collaborating with the DNA team for monthly forecasts on DIAA, Total Recurring Revenue, Volumes, and Transactions by merchant segment size/industry. Work with Finance and Accounting to analyze trends and establish baseline forecasts. - New Sales Reporting/Analysis:
Develop unit revenue metrics forecasts for new sales by segment. Collaborate with Sales on key metrics to support future planning and forecasting. - Develop and build automated reconcilement processes using SQL tools or Automate Excel Macro tool.
- Perform other duties and projects assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 5+ years’ related experience, ideally in the Merchant Acquirer industry
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Intermediate proficiency in SQL Query Language using AWS
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally (Sales, Accounting, Finance, DNA team, Strategic Account Managers).
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Salesforce, and ability to quickly learn additional systems/software.
- Proven track record as a collaborative team member, building effective relationships.
- Sedentary work; exerting up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally. Sitting most of the time.
- Must be comfortable talking, hearing, seeing, grasping, standing, walking, and performing repetitive motions.
- Office environment; relatively free from unpleasant conditions or hazards.
- Rare travel required.

Compensation Range:
The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan.
