What You'll DoAs our Senior Tax Accountant, you'll manage a diverse portfolio of domestic and international tax matters, working hand-in-hand with our tax leadership team. This role offers the variety and challenge you won't find in a standard corporate tax position.
Your
Core Responsibilities:
- Oversee preparation and review of federal, state, and franchise tax returns in collaboration with external tax firms
- Calculate and manage federal and state estimated tax payments and extensions
- Review foreign estimated tax calculations prepared by international accounting firms
- Prepare quarterly and annual tax provision calculations under ASC 740 with related footnote disclosures
- Prepare statutory financial statements for foreign branch operations
- Manage foreign branch tax compliance and reporting requirements
- Navigate VAT, cross-border transactions, and other international tax matters
- Lead tax audit responses and manage correspondence with tax authorities
- Conduct technical tax research on complex domestic and international issues
- Maintain tax compliance calendar and ensure all deadlines are met
- Manage sales & use tax, VAT, and property tax renditions across jurisdictions
- Maintain and reconcile tax depreciation records using specialized fixed asset software
Base Salary: $110,000+ (commensurate with experience)

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (CPA strongly preferred and supports advancement)
- 3+ years of experience in public accounting and/or corporate tax
- International tax experience is mandatory – this is a specialized role
- Demonstrated expertise with ASC 740 tax provision calculations
- Proficiency with tax software, Excel, and financial systems
- Sharp analytical and critical thinking abilities that allow you to navigate complex tax scenarios
- Excellent communication skills—you can explain technical tax concepts clearly to both finance professionals and business stakeholders
- Exceptional attention to detail and a track record of delivering accurate, timely work
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Self-motivation and follow-through—you take ownership of projects from start to finish
- A client-service mindset, whether working with internal teams or external advisors
This is a full-time, on-site position in our Covington office. While we value work-life balance, the collaborative nature of this small team requires in-person presence to ensure seamless communication and knowledge sharing on complex tax matters.
