Strong Baltimore area organization hiring a Senior Financial Analyst to join their strong and exceptional Finance team. Reports to top Finance talent!
Hybrid - 2 days in office / 3 days work from home
Salary - $85,000 - $102,000
Necessary qualifications:
- Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, Economics
- 5+ years of experience as a Financial Analyst (necessary years needed)
- Monthly forecasting
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint experience
- Proficiency in navigating complex data systems and software to identify and implement operational improvements.
- Effective communication for presenting fiscal insights to leadership and supporting the professional growth of fellow team members.
Responsibilities:
Budget Development and Management:
Manage the yearly operational budget process by inputting foundational data and coordinating with regional financial teams to adjust and verify final submissions.
Performance and Variance Examination:
Execute comprehensive reviews of financial outcomes during monthly and yearly closing periods to verify precision and provide detailed explanations for major budget deviations.
Strategic Internal Collaboration:
Engage with local executive leadership and finance partners to analyze the underlying operational reasons for financial trends and suggest specific ways to optimize performance
