Advanced Coated Products Ltd is the UK’s leading independent supplier of specialised coated films, used as release or process liners across a variety of end-use markets. Established in 1942 in Cheltenham, we supply innovative release liners to customers across the UK, Europe and worldwide. A full service provider offering sourcing, printing, coating and converting, our philosophy is to work in close cooperation with our customers to provide tailored solutions meeting the specific demands of their organisation.

We are highly experienced in technical development, enabling joint product development and innovation with our customers.

Through retirement, the opportunity has arisen for exceptional candidates to apply to our Finance & Accounting department. This encompasses the end-to-end finance process flow from AR/AP through TB to management reporting, incorporating governance, VAT processing, bank reconciliation, audit liaison, budgeting and forecasting. Responsibility also extends to personnel, payroll, insurance, financial analysis and cashflow forecasting.

The company is happy to consider a single full-time or two part-time applicants, potentially covering different areas of the above flow but working as a team.

The role(s) are hybrid, based in Cheltenham but with the flexibility for some remote work. You will work closely with internal teams to maintain financial accuracy and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

• Strong analytical skills to assess and interpret financial data effectively
• Experience in Finance and Financial Statements preparation and analysis
• Sound knowledge and application of Accounting principles and practices
• Excellent Communication skills for presenting financial data to stakeholders
• Proficiency with relevant accounting software / ERP and Microsoft Office tools
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
• Appropriate qualifications in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Professional certifications such as ACCA, CIMA, or ACA
