This opportunity will suit a qualified finance professional who enjoys partnering with senior stakeholders, shaping commercial strategy, and providing insight that drives profitable growth and performance improvement.
The Role
Key responsibilities will include:
Acting as a finance partner to commercial and operational stakeholders, providing insight and challenge
Supporting commercial performance analysis, margin management, and profitability improvement initiatives
Leading budgeting, forecasting, and longer-term planning for designated business areas
Producing and enhancing commercial reporting, KPIs, dashboards, and management packs
Analysing variances, identifying risks and opportunities, and translating data into actionable insight
Supporting investment appraisals, business cases, and strategic initiatives
Providing financial input into pricing, cost control, and efficiency improvement decisions
Playing a key role in the month-end close, including meaningful commentary and performance analysis
Driving continuous improvement across reporting, processes, and financial controls
Supporting wider finance transformation and change projects as the business evolve
The Ideal Candidate :
Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
Proven experience in a Commercial Finance Business Partner or Finance Business Partner role
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence decision-making beyond the numbers
Confident communicator, comfortable engaging and challenging senior non-finance stakeholders
Experience with in a fast-paced, multi-site or complex organisation is advantageous
