The role will involve support for management accounting, financial accounting, budgeting/forecasting through transactional processes. A progressive role, with training and development reporting directly to the Financial Controller. Remote/office hybrid working is offered, along with a study package if required for ACCA/CIMA. Your new role Your key duties will involve supporting with budgeting, forecasting, reporting, assisting in preparation of monthly management accounts, including balance sheet reconciliations.
Monthly intercompany reconciliations, assisting with monthly exchange rates, management report preparation, month-end processes, along with support for the year-end statutory process. You will prepare quarterly VAT returns, monitor funds, raise payments, along with assisting in any ad-hoc projects/duties. Your duties will grow/develop as you progress in the role, with the opportunity to really add value & take on more. What you'll need to succeed To be considered for this progressive Trainee Management Accountant role, you will need some experience in a similar position, willing to learn and develop, with key MS Excel skills, along with being trained in a range of financial systems.
Ideally, AAT qualified, or studying for your CIMA/ACCA/ACA, candidates qualified by experience will be considered. You will be a self-starter who is a team player, but also able to act on your own initiative, used to managing workloads to meet deadlines with a positive and proactive mind-set. You will have key communication skills to partner internally and externally at all levels, happy to embrace change and adaptable business needs.
Experience with in the charity or agricultural sectors, along with knowledge of MS Navision would be advantageous but not essential. What you'll get in return This permanent Trainee Management Accountant role offers a salary between £30,000 - £36,000 per annum, dependable on experience based in Ledbury, Herefordshire. Remote/office hybrid working is offered (3 days on-site, 2 days remote), a study package for ACCA/CIMA if applicable, contributed pension scheme, progression/development opportunities, along with further group benefits.
